Throatsil Lozenges works by both providing ascorbic acid and reversibly oxidizing to dehydroascorbic acid in the body; killing the bacteria associated with mouth and throat infections; reducing the infectivity of infection causing viruses. 

Throatsil Lozenges is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

• Sore throat
• Scurvy
• Vitamin deficiency
• Infections of mouth and throat
• Mouth infections
• Throat infections

Product Description:

Each lozenge contains:

• 2.4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2mg
• Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg

How to use:

Directions: Dissolve 1 to 3 lozenges in mouth slowly in a divided dose per day. Do not exceed the stated dose. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Please take note that young children can chose on lozenges.

Storage: Store medicines at room temperature, away from heat and direct light. Do not freeze medicines unless required by package insert. Keep medicines away from children and pets. Store below 30°C.

Caution:

Not recommended for those as below:

• Anticoagulant therapy
• Breastfeeding
• Diabetes
• Diabetics may have false results on urinary glucose test while taking >500mg of ascorbic acid per day
• Do not administer too rapidly if using intravenous route
• Do not take more than recommended
• History of recurrent renal calculi
• Pregnancy
• Sodium restricted diets
• Stool occult blood tests
